Hey there,

A few years ago I was working with a group called Carolina Crown from North Carolina. Before the season started a Physcial Therapist called me to tell me that one of the dancers shouldn’t be performing this season (due to an injury) and recommended to me to not deal with her or spend much time with her.

I hated that he would even say that. Giving up on people is not my kind of attitude. After giving me an explanation of the injury I politely told him I would like to meet her first before telling her she shouldn’t perform. Once I got to the training camp in North Carolina I met with the dancer. After an evaluation I had a plan on how to get her back to 100%

Over the next four weeks I worked closely with her. We had a strict progression of exercises and a daily treatment regiment. After four weeks we were able to relinquish her pain that she had for almost two years and other professionals had given up on her.

With consistent care much more is possible. Our bodies are organic. This means it adapts to the strains we put on it. Most of the time the solution isn’t some fancy new contraption or special technique. It is being consistent on your daily treatments, and having a plan on how to adapt your body.

At Athlecare we strive to be a place where you can get consistent quality care. We see the value of it and want it for everyone.

Hope to see you here soon,

Justin
