Book Free Acupuncture in Pleasant Grove

New to Acupuncture? Here is what you can expect.
Pre-appointment
There is nothing special you need to do before acupuncture. Show up give minutes early before an appointment so that we can get you situated and started on-time. If you have any specific questions for us, please call or message us at any time and we will help you in any way we can.
During Appointment
If this is your first appointment then there will be an initial assessment by the acupuncturist. Acupuncture is a full body treatment at all times, so it is important for us to know what is going on with your body. Following the assessment, the acupuncturist will begin to palpate acupuncture points associated with your issue. Majority of the time the needle is only a small prick with little pain. Once the needles are in place you will have a time of meditation and relaxation to allow the body to fully release.
After Appointment
After a session the acupuncturists will remove the needles and evaluate how you feel. Whatever issue you had should subside or be greatly lessened. Often acupuncture is accumulative meaning repeated sessions will yield greater results. Sometimes you may experience a little worse but different symptom. This can be a result of the body changing but with sequential treatments it will become better. Make sure to drink water after the appointment.
Long-term Effects
Once symptoms or pain has subsided then you will not need to get acupuncture as often. Getting acupuncture every so often will help maintain relief and keep the body feeling incredible. How often you should get acupuncture at this point varies from person to person.
